Philadelphia at Tampa Bay 1:00 PM ET
The Philadelphia Flyers look to start another streak when they open a two-game, two-day trip to the Sunshine State with a battle against the NHL-best Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday afternoon. The Flyers had gained at least a point in 12 consecutive games (10-0-2) before suffering a 4-1 setback at home against Carolina on Thursday, but could move back into first place in the Metropolitan Division with a win.
St. Louis at Dallas 2:00 PM ET
Having finally put an end to a seven-game losing streak, the St. Louis Blues attempt to move closer to a playoff slot when they visit the Dallas Stars on Saturday afternoon in the opener of a four-game road trip. The Stars are in fourth place in the Central Division and hold down the top wild-card spot in the West, three points ahead of St. Louis.
Chicago at Los Angeles 4:00 PM ET
The Los Angeles Kings aim to extend their winning streak to four games overall and complete a regular-season sweep of the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday when the clubs meet at the Staples Center. Jonathan Quick turned aside 51 of 53 shots to help the Kings collect a pair of 3-1 wins over the Blackhawks, and the goaltender has permitted two goals or fewer in six of his last seven appearances.
Montreal at Boston 5:00 PM ET
The Boston Bruins hope to carry over the momentum from an offensive explosion last time out and remain unbeaten on their six-game homestand when they host the Original Six-rival Montreal Canadiens on Saturday. The Bruins edged Carolina 4-3 in overtime to start their string at home while David Krejci’s hat trick led them to an 8-4 destruction of two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh on Thursday.
NY Islanders at Pittsburgh 5:00 PM ET
The Pittsburgh Penguins look to snap out of their defensive funk and end a three-game losing streak when they host the struggling New York Islanders in a Metropolitan Division battle on Saturday. The Penguins were cruising along with six straight wins before allowing 17 goals over three consecutive losses, including an embarrassing 8-4 setback at Boston on Thursday, and losing Matt Murray indefinitely due to a concussion.
Ottawa at Arizona 8:00 PM ET
The Arizona Coyotes attempt to conclude their seven-game homestand on a winning note when they host the Ottawa Senators on Saturday. Arizona looks to become the final team in the league to reach the 20-win plateau after improving to 4-2-0 during its stretch at Gila River Arena with Thursday's 5-3 triumph over Minnesota.
Toronto at Washington 8:00 PM ET
Alex Ovechkin bids to reach the 40-goal plateau for the ninth time in 13 seasons on Saturday night as the Washington Capitals host the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2018 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Md. With a tally, Ovechkin would join Wayne Gretzky (12), Marcel Dionne (10), Mario Lemieux (10), Mike Bossy (nine) and Mike Gartner (nine) as the lone members of that prestigious club.
NY Rangers at Edmonton 10:30 PM ET
The Edmonton Oilers hope to have one of their top forwards back in the lineup when they continue their five-game homestand Saturday against the New York Rangers. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, who hasn't played since Jan. 13 because of a rib injury, may return as the Oilers look to avoid a third consecutive defeat.
