Preview Roundups
April 20, 2019
Philadelphia at Brooklyn 3:00 PM ET
No Joel Embiid, no problem for the Philadelphia 76ers, who look to take a commanding 3-1 lead when they visit the Brooklyn Nets for Game 4 of the best-of-seven Eastern Conference first-round series. After averaging 22.5 points and 12.5 rebounds in limited minutes as the team's split the first two games, Embiid (knee) took a seat to watch his team roll to a 131-115 win at Brooklyn on Thursday in Game 3.
Denver at San Antonio 5:30 PM ET
Derrick White labored in Division II for three seasons and played in 24 games in the G League last season but now is a legitimate playoff hero. The San Antonio point guard scored a career-best 36 points in Game 3 and aims to follow up the effort when the Spurs host the Denver Nuggets on Saturday in Game 4 of the Western Conference first-round series.
Milwaukee at Detroit 8:00 PM ET
The Milwaukee Bucks had no problem keeping homecourt advantage in the first two games of their Eastern Conference playoff series, bludgeoning the eighth-seeded Detroit Pistons by an average of 28 points to take a 2-0 lead. The Pistons will try to turn things around and avoid a 3-0 hole when the series shifts to Detroit for Game 3 on Saturday.
Houston at Utah 10:30 PM ET
The Houston Rockets won the first two games by an average of 26 points and look to take a 3-0 series lead when they visit the Utah Jazz on Saturday in the Western Conference first-round matchup. The fourth-seeded Rockets averaged 120 points while dominating the two games in Houston as they won by margins of 32 and 20 points.
