Roughriders 45, Lions 18: William Powell rushed for a season-high 146 yards and three touchdowns as visiting Saskatchewan cruised past BC to sweep the home-and-home series.

Cody Fajardo completed 21-of-26 passes for 169 yards and a TD while adding another 46 yards on the ground for the Roughriders (3-3), who defeated the Lions 38-25 last Saturday in Regina. Cory Watson hauled in six passes for 53 yards and Kyran Moore made a touchdown catch for Saskatchewan, which registered four sacks.

Mike Reilly was limited to 66 yards on 8-of-19 passing for the Lions, who fell to 1-6 for the first time since 2011. Ryan Lankford scored a pair of special-teams touchdowns as BC's offence was held to 110 yards en route to its fifth consecutive loss to Saskatchewan.

Gabriel Ferraro kicked a 48-yard field goal and Loucheiz Purifoy returned a kickoff 87 yards for a touchdown against his former team to help give Saskatchewan a 12-0 lead after one quarter. Fajardo threw a 22-yard scoring strike to Moore and Powell bounced outside for a 42-yard touchdown to put the Roughriders in control at 26-3 before Lankford returned a missed field goal 118 yards for a TD with 30 seconds left in the second quarter to pull BC within 16 points at intermission.

Powell rushed for an 8-yard touchdown to stretch Saskatchewan's advantage to 34-10 before Lankford returned the ensuing kickoff 89 yards for a score with 2:34 remaining in the third quarter. Ferraro converted a 19-yard kick and Powell found the end zone for the third time from 1 yard out with 3:37 left in the fourth to cap the convincing offensive display.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Saskatchewan OL Dan Clark made his 100th career start. … The Roughriders have recorded kickoff-return touchdowns in back-to-back games for the first time in franchise history. … Lions WR Bryan Burnham caught five passes for 49 yards to extend his streak of consecutive games with at least one reception to 71. … BC has given up a league-high 25 sacks.
