Lions 25, Alouettes 23: Mike Reilly threw for 309 yards and a touchdown as BC won its third straight game by rallying to defeat visiting Montreal.
Reilly completed 30-of-34 passes and connected with Bryan Burnham (seven catches, 77 yards) on a scoring strike for the Lions (4-10), who stopped the Alouettes on downs at the 1-yard line in the final minute to preserve the victory. John White ran for 78 yards and a touchdown while Lemar Durant gained 107 yards on five receptions for BC, which has allowed 69 points in its last five games.
Matt Shiltz was 10-of-19 for 177 yards with a touchdown and added a rushing score for Montreal (7-6) while filling in for Vernon Adams Jr., who was suspended one game for an incident in last week's contest. William Stanback finished with 147 yards rushing - including a 40-yard jaunt that moved the Alouettes into scoring position late - and teammate Eugene Lewis made three catches for 114 yards and a TD.
Boris Bede connected from 16 yards out to give the Alouettes an early lead, but the Lions finished with four sacks in the first half and Sergio Castillo booted three field goals (36, 41, 41 yards) for a 9-3 advantage at intermission. Shiltz found a wide-open Lewis for a 97-yard touchdown on the first play from scrimmage in the second half and Antonio Pipkin scored on a 1-yard sneak to end the next possession as Montreal took a 17-9 lead.
BC answered with a seven-play drive that was capped by Reilly's 18-yard scoring strike to Burnham, but the conversion run failed and the Lions trailed by two going into the final quarter. White ran 4 yards for a score on the first play of the fourth period and Castillo added a 48-yard kick to give BC an eight-point lead before Shiltz ran 7 yards for a TD, but a conversion run with 5:55 remaining failed and the Lions held on.
