Argonauts 29, Blue Bombers 28: Ricky Ray became the fourth player in CFL history to throw for 60,000 yards in his career, including 423 and a touchdown when Toronto rallied for a victory over visiting Winnipeg to take over first place in the East Division.

James Wilder Jr. rushed for 112 yards and a pair of touchdowns while gaining another 85 on seven receptions for the Argonauts (8-9), who have won seven of their 10 games at home. Ray completed 32-of-43 passes and DeVier Posey hauled in five for 128 yards while Declan Cross caught a TD strike as Toronto moved one point ahead of Ottawa in the East.

Matt Nichols went 25-of-33 for 268 yards and a score for the Blue Bombers (11-5), who lost for only the second time in eight games against East Division opponents. Dan LeFevour made two short TD runs and Weston Dressler returned to the lineup after missing a month with an upper-body injury to make eight catches for 129 yards and a touchdown to lead Winnipeg.

Wilder capped the opening possession with a 12-yard touchdown run before the Blue Bombers responded with another long drive that ended on LeFevour's 1-yard TD. Ray hit Posey for 55 yards to set up a 6-yard scoring strike to Cross that gave the Argonauts a seven-point lead after one quarter, but Nichols connected with Dressler for a 28-yard touchdown midway through the second to forge a 14-14 tie at halftime.

Tristan Okpalaugo's 98-yard interception return set up LeFevour's second 1-yard score as Winnipeg built an 11-point lead midway through the third quarter before Wilder ran 3 yards for a TD to bring Toronto within 25-20 entering the fourth. The teams traded field goals before backup quarterback Cody Fajardo's 1-yard touchdown run with 1:57 remaining created a 29-28 lead for the Argonauts, who survived as Justin Medlock missed a 39-yard field-goal attempt in the final minute.
