Colorado 72, Oregon State 68: Spencer Dinwiddie scored 17 of his 24 points in the second half and Josh Scott added 17 points as the Buffaloes rallied to beat the host Beavers.

Colorado (16-7, 6-5 Pac-12) trailed by seven with 13 minutes remaining before Oregon State (12-12, 2-9) committed a flurry of turnovers down the stretch and allowed the Buffaloes to pull within two games of first-place Arizona.

Oregon State cut the lead to 70-68 on Roberto Nelson’s basket with 17 seconds to play, but Dinwiddie hit two free throws to secure the win. Nelson scored 21 points and Ahmad Starks scored 20 points while shooting 6-of-11 from 3-point range.

Andre Roberson, the nation’s leading rebounder at 11.7 per game, had 10 boards and a career-high five steals for Colorado, which forced 21 turnovers. The Buffaloes were 18-of-24 from the foul line compared to 7-of-8 for Oregon State.

Joe Burton recorded his third straight double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds for Oregon State, which fell to 1-6 in games decided by five points or less.
