Nebraska 64, Northwestern 49: Dylan Talley had 20 points and eight rebounds as the host Cornhuskers ran away from the Wildcats in the second half.
Brandon Ubel added 14 points and 12 rebounds for Nebraska (11-10, 2-6 Big Ten) and Ray Gallegos had all of his 11 points in the second half.
Dave Sobolewski had 21 points and Jared Swopshire added 11 points and a career-high 16 rebounds for Northwestern (12-9, 3-5).
Nebraska broke open a close game with a 21-7 run in the second half. Gallegos started the run with his three 3-pointers to push the lead to 44-33 and Talley capped it with a jumper and fast-break layup for a 56-40 lead with 4:44 left.
The Cornhuskers never trailed after using an 8-0 run to build a 15-11 lead with 7:40 left in the first half. Talley hit back-to-back 3-pointers late in the half for a seven-point lead but Sobolewski's 3-pointer with 44 seconds left cut the lead to 24-22.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Nebraska shot 45.1 percent from the floor and improved to 10-0 when shooting at least 40 percent. The Cornhuskers are 1-10 when shooting below that mark. ... Ubel recorded his fourth double-double of the season after having one in his first three seasons at Nebraska. ... Swopshire's 16 rebounds are the most by a player in coach Bill Carmody's 13 years at Northwestern.
