No. 14 Gonzaga 68, Kansas State 52: Kelly Olynyk had 20 points on 10-for-13 shooting and the Bulldogs bounced back from their first loss with an impressive win over the visiting Wildcats in Seattle.

Gary Bell Jr. scored 11 points and Elias Harris added 10 points and seven rebounds for Gonzaga (10-1), which led by 10 after scoring nine unanswered points to open the second half. The Bulldogs extended their lead to 14 on Olynyk’s dunk with 8:57 remaining.

Gonzaga, which allowed Brandon Paul to score 35 points in an 85-74 loss to Illinois on Dec. 8, held Kansas State to 33.3 percent shooting and forced 18 turnovers. Angel Rodriguez led the Wildcats (7-2) with 14 points and Will Spradling added eight.

The Bulldogs led by 16 after Kevin Pangos’ 3-pointer with 6:25 to play and were never threatened in the second half. Olynyk, who fouled out with 4:56 remaining, is shooting 75.5 percent (34-of-45) in his last four games.

Kansas State guard Rodney McGruder, who averaged 17.7 points and 8.3 rebounds in his last three games, finished with four points on 1-of-9 shooting while grabbing five boards. The Wildcats were outrebounded 27-23.
