No. 9 Kansas 90, Colorado 54: Freshman Ben McLemore led the way with 24 points as the Jayhawks crushed the visiting Buffaloes.
Kevin Young added 16 points and eight rebounds and Elijah Johnson scored 11 for Kansas (7-1), which has taken 21 straight from former Big 12 Conference rival Colorado.
Josh Scott scored 19 points but sophomore star Spencer Dinwiddie was held to four on 1-of-4 shooting as the Buffaloes (7-2) dropped to 5-53 all-time at Allen Fieldhouse.
The schools are renewing a rivalry that took a year off last season, when Colorado moved to the Pac-12. The Jayhawks picked up right where they left off in 2010-11, when they knocked off the Buffaloes three times.
McLemore racked up 17 points in the first half as Kansas scored 18 of the first 21 points en route to a 43-22 lead at the break. A 9-0 run to begin the second half stretched the lead to 30, and Travis Releford’s layup with 9:25 left pushed it to 76-34 before the Jayhawks emptied the bench.
