Maryland 100, Maryland-Eastern Shore 68: Logan Aronhalt scored a season-high 17 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead five players in double figures as the host Terrapins rolled to their seventh straight victory.

Shaquille Cleare chipped in with 12 points and Charles Mitchell contributed 10 points and 11 rebounds for Maryland (7-1), which started an eight-game home stand. Nick Faust and Jake Layman added 10 points apiece for the Terrapins, who had 27 assists on 38 field goals.

Kyree Jones scored 24 points and Troy Snyder added 19 for Maryland-Eastern Shore (0-8), which was outscored 52-18 in the paint.

The Hawks were within 20-13 early on before Maryland held them without a field goal for 8:26 and pushed the lead to 19. Faust’s 3-pointer at the buzzer gave the Terrapins at 49-28 lead at halftime. Maryland shot 63.4 percent from the field in the opening 20 minutes and 61.3 for the game.

Jones made 7-of-12 from the field in the first half for Maryland-Eastern Shore to record 18 points. The rest of the team was 2-of-27. The Hawks could not get closer than 20 points in the second half and Maryland reached 100 for the first time since Feb. 9, 2011 against Longwood.
