Frankie Sullivan scored 19 points and grabbed the game-saving rebound in the second overtime to help Auburn beat Ole Miss 69-68 on Saturday and give the Tigers their first Southeastern Conference victory.
Ole Miss had a chance to win the game with 11.6 seconds left in the second OT, but Jarvis Summers missed a short drive. Reginald Buckner missed the ensuing tip for the Rebels and Sullivan emerged from the scramble with the loose ball, preserving Auburn's victory.
Auburn (11-6, 1-2) also got 16 points from Chris Denson and 11 points from Kenny Gabriel.
Ole Miss (11-6, 1-2) was led by Summers with 22 points and Nick Williams with 13. Buckner and Murphy Holloway each scored 11.
Ole Miss trailed by 12 points with 7:39 remaining in the game, but tied it at 57-57 on 3-pointers by Summers and Williams, the latter with 12.6 seconds remaining. Auburn's Varez Ward missed a short game-winning runner at the buzzer, causing the game to go to overtime.
Auburn had a chance to win it in the first overtime. The Tigers had the ball with 29.3 seconds and opted to play for a final shot, but failed to get a shot off.
