Elston Turner scored 17 points and Texas A&M smothered visiting Stephen F. Austin 55-42 on Saturday.
The Aggies (6-1) held the Lumberjacks to 23 percent first-half shooting in building a 26-15 halftime lead and extended the edge to as many as 19 points in the second half.
Ray Turner added 12 points and David Loubeau had 11 points and eight rebounds for Texas A&M, which won its 65th consecutive non-conference game at Reed Arena.
Jereal Scott scored 12 to lead Stephen F. Austin (3-3), which had its two-game winning streak snapped and fell to 3-16 all-time against Texas A&M.
The Lumberjacks never got in rhythm offensively, missing 10 of their first 11 shots - including 0-of-6 from 3-point range - in falling behind 14-4 midway through the first half.
No starter scored more than two points in the first half for the Lumberjacks.
The Aggies also held Stephen F. Austin without a field goal for longer than seven minutes in the second half, going on a 12-1 run and taking a 42-23 lead when Dash Harris found Elston Turner for a 3-pointer with 9:26 left.
Texas A&M, coming off an 0-of-17 performance from 3-point range in its last game, finished 4-of-12 on 3-pointers.
