Noah Hartstock had 21 points, 12 rebounds and blocked four shots to lead Brigham Young to a 79-65 victory over Oregon on Saturday at EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City.

Stephen Rogers added 16 points and Brock Zylstra fueled an early second-half charge as the Cougars (6-2) snapped Oregon’s four-game winning streak in the semi-neutral court contest.

Garrett Sim scored 16 points and Tony Woods added 13 points for the Ducks (4-2).

Zylstra scored eight straight points during a 13-0 run that saw BYU transform a slim five-point lead into a 51-33 margin with 15:48 to play. He hit two 3-pointers during the run and the Cougars led comfortably the rest of the contest.

Rogers made four of BYU’s 10 3-point baskets.

E.J. Singler and Carlos Emory each scored 11 and made three 3-pointers apiece for the Ducks.

Oregon scored the game’s first eight points and led 10-2 before BYU responded with a 22-5 run to take a 24-15 lead midway through the first half.

The Cougars led by as many as 14 points in the first half en route to a 38-31 halftime lead.
