Jared Cunningham scored 22 points, Roberto Nelson added 14 and Oregon State concluded non-conference play Wednesday with a convincing 74-54 victory over visiting Illinois-Chicago.
Ahmad Starks and Devon Collier scored 12 and 10 points, respectively, for Oregon State (5-6), which was 27 for 58 (46.6 percent) from the field.
With his 3-pointer in the first half, senior guard Robo Krebs became the 11th player in Illinois-Chicago history to reach 1,300 career points. Krebs finished with 21 points, including 5 of 9 from 3-point range.
Illinois-Chicago (5-8) entered the game with momentum after upsetting then-No. 12 Illinois 57-54 Saturday. However, the Flames never threatened against the Beavers.
Illinois-Chicago senior forward Paul Carter scored 19 points.
