Rockies 5, Phillies 2: Jhoulys Chacin pitched 8 2/3 stellar innings and host Colorado took two of three from Philadelphia.

Carlos Gonzalez hit a two-run homer and Wilin Rosario added a solo shot as the Rockies completed a 10-game homestand with a 5-5 mark.

Chacin (5-3) carried a three-hit shutout into the ninth inning but allowed a two-out RBI double to Jimmy Rollins and an RBI single to Ryan Howard before Rex Brothers came on to strike out Domonic Brown for his third save. Chacin retired 14 in a row in one stretch in the longest outing by a Colorado pitcher this season.

Phillies left-hander Cole Hamels (2-10) gave up three runs and six hits as the Phillies fell to 28-8 in their last 36 meetings with the Rockies.

Rosario hit a solo homer in the second for a 1-0 lead and it stayed that way until the seventh, when Jordan Pacheco had a run-scoring groundout and rookie Nolan Arenado delivered an RBI double for a 3-0 edge. Gonzalez provided insurance with a two-run blast in the eighth, his 20th homer of the season.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Gonzalez finished 8-for-12 in the series as the Rockies put up 22 runs. ... CF Ben Revere went 1-for-4 to extend his hitting streak to seven games for the Phillies, who have lost 13 of Hamel's 15 starts. ... The Rockies called up RHP Logan Kensing from Triple-A Colorado Springs and optioned reliever Chris Volstad.
