Indians 3, White Sox 2: Jason Giambi belted a walkoff home run as Cleveland won its fifth straight.

After tying the game in the sixth on an Asdrubal Cabrera RBI groundout, the Indians escaped with the victory after Giambi drilled a pitch from Ramon Troncoso (1-3) over the center-field wall for his ninth career walkoff home run. It made a winner out of Chris Perez (3-1), who worked a scoreless ninth.

Adam Dunn and Paul Konerko drove in runs for the White Sox, who have dropped four in a row.

The Indians opened the scoring in the second inning. Cabrera reached on third baseman Conor Gillaspie's throwing error, advanced to third on Ryan Raburn's double and came in to score on Carlos Santana's sacrifice fly to left.

Chicago drew even in the sixth as Dunn drilled an RBI double into the right-field corner, halting Cleveland's scoreless streak at 27 innings. Konerko followed with a single to shallow center that brought home Dunn.
