Phillies 5, Braves 1: Cliff Lee pitched seven shutout innings and Jimmy Rollins homered as Philadelphia won its second straight in Atlanta.

The Phillies knocked Tim Hudson out in the sixth inning, handing the Atlanta starter his first loss since July 1. Hudson, who walked Lee with the bases loaded, gave up five runs on nine hits in five-plus innings.

The Braves remained 6 1/2 games behind Washington in the National League East after the Nationals dropped a wild 10-9 decision to St. Louis. Atlanta stayed three games ahead of St. Louis for the top wild-card spot.

Rollins hit his 16th homer of the season in the third inning. Philadelphia scored single runs in the first, third and fifth innings before scoring twice in the sixth. That was plenty for Lee, who scattered five hits, walked one and struck out five.

John Mayberry Jr. singled home Juan Pierre in the first inning and Chase Utley doubled home Pierre in the fifth. After Lee brought in Laynce Nix with his walk, Ty Wigginton scored Kevin Frandsen on a fielder’s choice.

Lee worked out of a bases-loaded jam in the sixth, getting Brian McCann to pop out. Martin Prado hit a solo homer for Atlanta in the eighth, his ninth of the season.

Philadelphia has won 10 of its past 14. The Braves have lost three in a row and eight of 12
