Matt Harrison outdueled Roy Oswalt and Mitch Moreland doubled in a run as the Texas Rangers avoided a sweep with a 2-0 victory over the host Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday.

Michael Young and Adrian Beltre each scored a run for the Rangers, who moved back over .500 at 24-23.

Harrison (4-4) yielded five hits in a season-high 8 1/3 innings while striking out three and walking three in his first scoreless appearance of the season. The lefthander snapped a five-start winless streak by not allowing an extra-base hit in the contest.

Neftali Feliz recorded the final two outs for his ninth save.

Oswalt (3-2) matched Harrison through the first five before for finally allowing a run in the sixth. Young led off with a single and came in to score on Moreland’s one-out double to left. Oswalt ended up lasting seven innings, surrendering one run on eight hits.

The Rangers pushed an insurance run across in eighth when Chris Gentry’s sacrifice bunt scored Beltre from third.
