Tiger-Cats 43, Alouettes 16: Jeremiah Masoli threw for 320 yards and two touchdowns as visiting Hamilton scored 40 straight points en route to a convincing win against Montreal.

Brandon Banks hauled in six passes for 129 yards and a touchdown while adding a special-teams score for the Tiger-Cats (5-11), who forced four turnovers. Masoli completed 19-of-28 passes, including a TD toss to Mike Jones, and Alex Green rushed for a score as Hamilton racked up 422 total yards.

Matt Shiltz finished 15-of-22 for 167 yards after replacing Darian Durant in the third quarter for the Alouettes (3-13), who have dropped nine consecutive games. Ernest Jackson made seven catches for 68 yards and a touchdown while Tyrell Sutton added a rushing score for Montreal, which gave up five sacks.

Durant (8-of-14 for 92 yards) hit Jackson in stride for a 15-yard touchdown to give the Alouettes a 7-3 advantage before Kenny Allen connected on field goals from 48 and 45 yards to put the Tiger-Cats on top 9-7. Banks returned a punt 65 yards for a TDand Masoli threw a 14-yard scoring strike to Jones with 1:42 left in the second quarter to help Hamilton build a commanding 26-7 lead at halftime.

Masoli found Banks over the top for a 65-yard touchdown and Allen kicked his fifth field goal on the first play of the fourth quarter as Hamilton pulled away 36-7. Green rushed for a 4-yard touchdown to put the finishing touches on an impressive Tiger-Cats victory.
